The first album of Gaga, "The Fame", was released in 2008 with little public attention. Gaga went on tour in Europe as well as the US to promote the album. But it was not until Gaga got her first big hit, "Just Dance", that the mainstream media began to come to the music industry. Gaga was suffering from a tear in the labrum on her right hip. she had been nursing for weeks in hopes that she would be able continue the tour. After a performance in Toronto resulted in her being unable to walk, and with a lot of pain She was taken to a hospital for surgery, and the tour was postponed.
